I just got a call from someone to told me to take a look at the home page of Apple.com. Sure enough, TeeShot is in their Hot News section listed as the App Store Pick of the Week. Awesome!
Here’s what they say:
February 25, 2009
Play golf? Then you may want to size up TeeShot. Use it to score your foursome. Then email the day’s results to everyone from your iPhone. TeeShot lets you track your strokes, putts, fairways, clubs, distances, and other data. You can compare stats from your current round to previous rounds, use GPS to measure shot distances, download courses or create your own. And TeeShot gets raves for customer support.
Awesome!

App Store Pick of the Week: and right so! It’s one of the few apps that I use that I actually take serious.
Keep up the good work. The new season is just around the corner!

One, I did not notice when I uploaded Pelican Hill that I included an EXTRA “l”. Please correct my spelling!
Second, I cannot figure out how to download the course information I laboriously typed in to TeeShot to my iPhone. We leave for our golf trip on Friday, so I hope you can help me.
I purchased TeeShot and I have five courses to download to my phone before we leave for California.
I am looking at the application on my phone now. When I choose “download a course” I am taken to Safari where I type in my course (Pelican Hill in this case, which I just uploaded in Course Builder). It comes up on my screen as 1 course found. But that’s it. I cannot seem to DO anything with the information.
What is wrong?
Thanks,
Iris

I’ve downloaded the course builder and input a fantastic links course I played today – Lykia Links in Turkey.
Two points:
1. How do you delete a Tee (you will find a Black Copy which needs removing)
2. In the first Black Tee section I added the names of the holes. Annoyingly these did not copy through to the other 5 tees. Am I missing something here?
3.I guess there is no way to download the courses via the internet? Not always easy finding WiFi – have to sneak into hotels and hope it’s free
Great product – keep up the good work
